Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and skilled software engineer to provide software engineering solutions for development projects in the Secure Systems Group. In this position, you will work with a team of multi-disciplined professionals to develop QTI security solutions. The position will require you to work on all software layers of the device architecture, including user and kernel space in different operating environments. This position will involve debugging in different software environments and on hardware. You will need to interact closely with internal teams and potentially support/work with external customers.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 0-7 years experience.
  • Strong C programming skills, with an emphasis on secure programming best practices.
  • Strong understanding of embedded hardware & driver concepts.
  • Strong understanding of software and computer architecture concepts.
  • Strong understanding of operating system concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, memory management, etc.
  • Experience with JTAG-enabled devices and software debugger, with excellent debugging skills.
Desirable
  • Working knowledge of cryptography and secure protocols.
  • Qualcomm MSM and AMSS development experience.
  • ARM architecture and software development experience.
  • RISC-V architecture and software development experience.
  • Experience with on-chip simulators/emulators.
  • Experience with ARM Trustzone architecture.
Additional Expectations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Being a team player who can function well with minimum supervision.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through.
Compensation & Benefits

$94,200.00 - $141,200.00. The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. In addition, we offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants. Highly competitive benefits package supports your success at work, at home, and at play.
