Join our Mobile Crisis Response team!!! We have immediate openings in Richmond County and surrounding areas. 


***YOU MUST BE LICENSED IN MENTAL HEALTH IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA TO BE CONSIDERED***

Available Shifts:

  • Sunday to Wednesday 6am to 4pm (FT 40hrs)
  • Wednesday to Saturday 8am-6pm (FT 40hrs)
  • Wednesday to Saturday 3pm-1am (Ft 40hrs)
  • Monday to Friday 5am-1pm (FT 40hrs)


**Candidates must meet job and residency requirements for this role. Valid driver's license, & reliable transportation***


Position Overview

Serve as first responder, providing community-based, face-to-face clinical assessment, rapid response to children and adults with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an active state of crisis. This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mobile Crisis care is provided in community settings including, but not limited to homes, residential settings, other treatment/support settings, schools, hospital emergency departments, jails, and social service settings. The ability to respond quickly, professionally, and compassionately is required.

Requirements

Education & Credentials:

  • Master's degree from an accredited school with a valid license in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC (preferred), or an associate level license (LAPC, LAMFT, and LMSW).
  • Valid CPR certification is required. You may obtain certification through organizations such as the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or the Health and Safety Institute.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum one to two years' clinical behavioral health experience.
  • Experience in assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization skills and familiarity with mental health, addictive disease, and Intellectual or Developmental disability service delivery system required.
  • Bi-lingual preferred

  • This is a 100% mobile response position that requires a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • First responders must be able to drive in a car for the duration of their assigned shift, if necessary.
  • First responders must be able to drive at any time of day or night, and do so safely and without restriction for length, duration or condition of the drive.
  • At times, driving in heavy traffic or other adverse weather conditions may be required.
