Psychiatry MD/DO Opportunity at Rappahannock General Hospital!
Bon Secours is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our compassionate behavioral health team at Rappahannock General Hospital. Details:
  • No weekend call!
  • Average daily inpatient census ~6 patients
  • Manage 3-4 consults on the med/surg unit monthly
  • Provide high-quality psychiatric care to 14-16 patients per day
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage treatment plans for adult and/or geriatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with other psychiatrists, NPs, social workers, nurses and primary care providers.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning.
  • Offer consultation liaison to support to medical surgical units as needed.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Deliver care through a mix of in-person and telepsychiatry.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Requirements:
  • BC/BE Psychiatry
  • Eligible for Virginia licensure
