Job Overview
GreenWorks is seeking qualified and experienced Radon Mitigation Contractors to fulfill mitigation projects on a 1099 independent contractor basis. This role is ideal for licensed radon professionals who want consistent, pre-qualified job referrals without the need to generate their own leads.
As a Radon Mitigation Partner, you'll receive project opportunities directly from our internal radon assessment team and be responsible for system design, installation, and follow-up documentation. You operate independently under your own license and insurance while representing GreenWorks' standards in customer interaction and quality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and manage radon mitigation projects referred by the GreenWorks radon inspection team
  • Evaluate properties and determine appropriate mitigation system design based on site conditions and radon test results
  • Install sub-slab depressurization or crawlspace systems in accordance with NRPP, EPA, and Colorado (DORA) requirements
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners, real estate agents, or property managers regarding system functionality, expectations, and safety
  • Coordinate or conduct post-mitigation testing as needed
  • Submit required reports, system photos, and completion documentation to GreenWorks
  • Ensure clean, professional work that aligns with our commitment to service quality

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active NRPP Radon Mitigation Certification (or Colorado DORA-accepted equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of radon mitigation experience in residential environments
  • Familiarity with Colorado's radon regulations and EPA standards
  • Must have reliable transportation and necessary tools to perform the work
  • Liability insurance and a business license (as applicable to operate as a contractor)
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Ability to pass a background check (if required by certain clients or properties)

Compensation & Structure
  • Employment Type: 1099 independent contractor (no benefits included)
  • Compensation:
  • Hourly: $26-$50/hour, based on experience and project complexity
  • OR Per Project: depending on scope and property type
  • Invoices are paid promptly upon completion and submission of required documentation
