Job Title: Insights Analyst (Publishing Analytics & Data Engineering)

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

Duration- 12 Months

Job Description

As an Insights Analyst, you will focus on data analysis, reporting, and data engineering work for the Publishing team. You will help build Publishing's data foundations and enable better support for decision makers across brand marketing, performance marketing, channel optimization, and player acquisition strategies.

You will be responsible for building high-quality dashboards and data pipelines, auditing third-party data, servicing stakeholder data requests, improving sustainability for recurring reporting, developing self-service tools, and creating knowledge documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support recurring reporting for global and regional publishing performance.
  • Conduct data audits and build data tables and pipelines that form the backbone of mobile publishing capabilities.
  • Run performance and trend analyses on product marketing efforts, user acquisition campaigns, paid media, and related initiatives.
  • Build Tableau dashboards and other self-service tools that capture core metrics and answer business questions.
  • Identify and implement sustainability improvements for recurring reporting and analysis.
  • Perform data pulls and execute ad hoc analyses for stakeholder requests.
  • Create and maintain documentation to support reporting processes, data assets, and self-service capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience analyzing large datasets, creating data visualizations, and building data pipelines.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL or Python.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau or other data visualization tools.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in game development or publishing.
  • Experience in mobile marketing domains, including performance marketing, product marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), or related areas.
  • Experience working with third-party publishing data and tools, including user acquisition channels, mobile measurement partners, social listening platforms, app stores, YouTube, Discord, and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency with Databricks and Airflow.
