• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for individuals, adolescents, family units, and groups, adapting therapeutic intervention strategies as necessary.
• Perform initial assessments to prioritize patient needs effectively and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with our interdisciplinary team, ensuring accurate documentation of evaluations, interventions, and care plans that comply with departmental standards.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic care across a broad age range, addressing multifaceted needs including safety, psychological insights, educational challenges, social work, and physical health considerations.
• Collaborate with medical staff and community providers to facilitate holistic case management and seamless patient care.
• Ensure timely and ethical documentation adhering to legal and clinical guidelines.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to effectively address and support the needs of outpatient clients.

As a mental health counselor at Peer Support Behavioral Clinic, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various challenges and mental health diagnoses. Your role will encompass providing support for anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and other psychological conditions. • Recognized professional credentials as a PsyD, LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW are required.
• Availability to commit to a minimum of 10 to 40 hours per week of clinical sessions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is necessary; advanced degrees are strongly preferred.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a comparable setting is required, showcasing a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient management.
