Bachelor's degree. Successful completion of at least one graduate-level neuroscience course (13-15 weeks) with a grade of B or higher. Demonstrated knowledge of biomedical neuroscience concepts and the ability to provide constructive academic feedback.
Job Description:
The Online Biomedical Neuroscience Program at the University of Florida is seeking qualified applicants for Teaching Assistant positions.
Duties include:
  • Assess and grade student assignments, quizzes, and exams.
  • Read and provide constructive feedback on written assignments and essays.
  • Evaluate weekly quizzes and tests. Provide meaningful comments to support student learning and academic success.

The University of Florida's Online Biomedical Neuroscience Program offers an asynchronous teaching environment, providing teaching assistants with a high degree of scheduling flexibility.
Appointment is for one academic term (13-15 weeks). Teaching assistant will be expected to work approximately 5-10 hours per week
Expected Salary:
$17.00-$20.00
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Successful completion of at least one graduate-level neuroscience course (13-15 weeks) with a grade of B or higher.
Preferred:Demonstrated knowledge of biomedical neuroscience concepts and the ability to provide constructive academic feedback

Teaching assistant stipends range from $500 to $1,500 per term, depending on the expected weekly time commitment and assigned workload.
