Job description

Regents Point, a premier 5-star HumanGood life plan community in Irvine, CA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a full-time Nutrition Services Supervisor. Under general supervision of the Nutrition Services Supervisor promotes health and wellness in an effort to prevent disease. 

FLSA Classification – Non-exempt. Full-time. 

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (typical start time between 8:30–9:00 AM; flexibility required based on operational needs, including occasional weekends).

Pay range $32 to $39 an hour, depending on experience.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

  • Current CDM Credential required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare foodservice, or supervisory roles a strong plus
  • ServSafe® certification
  • Minimum of one-year experience, preferably in a hospital or nursing home or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities required.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures concerning resident care and the ability to administer the procedures correctly.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and external constituents.
  • Must be proficient in the use of a computer for input of resident information, record keeping, communications as directed by management and any additional computer-generated departmental needs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Residents, family members, guests, vendors, other department heads, team members and regulatory agencies.
