Job Summary
This position is responsible for analyzing, documenting, organizing, and publishing policies, procedures and guidelines for internal operations divisions. Leading facilitation work with internal and external customers to gain acceptance and consensus; supporting efforts to improve content taxonomies and content organization. Staging and publishing new and revised records on approval applications. Securing cooperation of appropriate levels of authority. Consulting with local content owners to ensure standards, templates, and publishing protocol are followed; and supporting content organization and standardization efforts that lead to improved search efficiency and improved usability.
Required Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree AND five (5) year experience with corporate content management, knowledge management and policy and procedural research, writing and storage OR 10 years' experience with corporate content management, knowledge management and policy and procedural research, writing and storage.
  • Three (3) years' learning and development experience in a corporate or business setting.
  • Strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources (subject matter experts, project managers) to develop Web content, and possibly training materials and online help content)
  • Experience with documenting software projects.
  • Proven technical writing and editing skills.
  • Proven ability to create creative, unique, and relevant online content for the web.
  • Proven ability to be effective in a position requiring a high degree of self-direction, initiative, sound decision-making, good organizational skills and must be able to meet aggressive tight deadlines.
  • Strong customer services focus and detailed oriented.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Consulting and analytical skills.
  • Sound inductive and deductive reasoning.
  • Work with others to analyze information and evaluate results to identify appropriate solutions.

  • Two (2) years' healthcare insurance operations experience.
  • Aptitude to learn HCSC operations and technical terminology.
  • Ability to work with multiple internal and external customers, senior management, subject matter experts.
  • Familiarity emerging content/knowledge organization models and practices in the industry.
