Job Overview
Job Title: Network Administrator
Job Location: Scott AFB, IL
Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is seeking a skilled network administrator to support DISA's 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) activities for mission-critical Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) systems. In this role, you'll directly support the operational availability of enterprise defense networks used around the world.   • Monitor enterprise network infrastructure in a 24/7 NOC environment
  • Perform real-time alarm surveillance, event correlation, and incident response
  • Conduct root cause analysis across WAN, LAN, transport, and optical networks
  • Create, manage, and update incident tickets using ITSM platforms
  • Coordinate service restoration, reroutes, and outage normalization
  • Escalate and collaborate with engineering teams and Tier III support
  • Support Configuration Management Database (CMDB) updates
  • Maintain situational awareness for DISA/DOD mission partners
  • Provide detailed status reporting to leadership and stakeholders

This position is compensated on an salary basis. The anticipated annualized compensation range for this role is $64,000 to $69,500, based on a full-time schedule. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
  • Due to the nature of the work and US Government requirements, US Citizenship is required
  • Moderate IP/Networking experience including routers and switches
  • Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operational environment
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience

Desired Qualification
  • Experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of IP networking and transport infrastructures
  • Network Operations Center (NOC) or enterprise network support experience
  • Experience with the Cisco and/or Juniper command line

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
