Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and eager to contribute to a company where your work truly matters? PDS Tech Commercial is looking for an Assembler to join our dynamic team, where your skills in assembly, testing, and calibration will directly impact the quality and success of our products. Your Role & Impact:
As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our fabricated parts meet the highest standards. You'll assemble, test, and calibrate components to product specifications, ensuring everything works perfectly before it reaches the next phase. From troubleshooting and repairing faulty units to working with hand and power tools, your attention to detail and technical skills will be key to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations using hand tools and power tools.
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet required tolerances and product specifications.
  • Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels, and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Follow detailed instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform your job effectively and accurately.
  • Report to supervisors and work under immediate supervision to meet production goals.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in assembly or a related field.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly.
  • Willingness to work with eye exams related to soldering (Solder Eye Exams).
  • Ability to work in a structured environment with defined processes.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and handle moderate physical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Apprenticeship or formal training in assembly.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical components.
  • Familiarity with assembly-related software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
