Position Summary:

Primary responsibility is assembling kits prior to shipping. Work closely with the department lead; ensure that all of our orders and customer needs are being met. And to ensure that all components and hardware are properly staged for the assembly into the kits.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Follow all established quality management system procedures and work instructions as applicable
  2. Maintain pre-packaged parts in inventory and proper inventory on all supplies
  3. Verify correct quantity on label on the bag
  4. Verify correct part numbers when assembling kits
  5. Assemble required number of kits per job traveler per documented procedures
  6. Ensure all required paper work is included with kits
  7. Responsible for handling parts properly to prevent damage
  8. Visually confirm that the contents of the kit matches the packing list fastened to the top of the box
  9. Verify the packing list is the correct part number and the correct revision
  10. Ability to visually distinguish differences in parts
  11. Schedule required source inspection with quality
  12. Responsible for reviewing job travelers for required quantities and pulling stock from inventorVerify part number and revision to picture on bin if applicable
  13. If pulled inventory requires bag and tag ensure documented process is followed
  14. Issue all details to job in AX
  15. Visually confirm that the contents of the kit matches the parts listed on the job traveler

Knowledge & Skills:

  1. Perform simple work assignments, often repetitive in nature
  2. Ability to visually distinguish differences in parts
  3. Computer literate
  4. AX knowledge
  5. Knowledge of label printer set up
  6. Knowledge of using bag sealer
  7. Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers
  8. Ability to receive, track, stock, and distribute materials and supplies
  9. Ability to perform simple arithmetic

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

Stooping, crouching, reaching, walking, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. Must have close visual acuity. May be subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust.
