As a part of the rehabilitation team, you will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for residents through tailored therapy interventions aimed at restoring mobility and function.

About the Organization

Kinetic Revive Physical Therapy is committed to providing high-quality rehabilitation services, focusing on both physical and emotional well-being. Our skilled nursing facility is designed to offer professional, compassionate care, enabling residents to regain their independence and improve their functional capacities. By fostering a supportive environment, we create meaningful relationships with our patients, their families, and our dedicated staff.

Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office, where our team thrives in an engaging, collaborative atmosphere. Working on-site, you will engage daily with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including nurses, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. Our clinic is designed with advanced therapy equipment and resources to support effective treatment delivery. Your hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess residents' physical capabilities and establish individualized therapy goals based on their specific needs.
  • Design and implement effective, evidence-based therapy plans that emphasize reducing pain, improving mobility, and enhancing overall functional independence.
  • Administer hands-on therapy techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, balance training, and mobility interventions tailored to each resident's recovery journey.
  • Educate residents, their families, and caregivers on safe mobility practices and at-home exercise programs to support recovery and prevent future injuries.
  • Collaborate with other-disciplinary team members to provide integrated care, ensuring the patient's holistic needs are met and optimized across services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is on providing therapeutic services to predominantly geriatric residents who may have experienced mobility challenges due to post-operative recoveries, chronic conditions, or age-related disabilities. Your role as a PT will not only involve direct patient care but also the encouragement of emotional and psychological well-being throughout their rehabilitation. Engaging with families will be crucial, as your insight helps them support their loved ones effectively during the recovery process.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care delivery.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent documentation skills needed for compliance and record-keeping.
  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is preferred, showcasing your ability to manage complex patient cases.
  • Experience working with geriatric populations and knowledge of age-related physical challenges will enhance your effectiveness in the role.
  • Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and treatment methodologies will be beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance to support your health and well-being.
  • A 401(k) plan with employer-matching to help you plan for your future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO), including holidays, to ensure you have time to recharge.
  • Support for continuing education costs and professional development opportunities to further your career.
  • Coverage for malpractice insurance, providing peace of mind in your clinical practice.
  • Flexible scheduling and potential for telehealth services to accommodate diverse patient needs and lifestyles.
