Job Title: Automation Engineer
Location: New Albany, OH
We are seeking a mid-level Automation Engineer to support the design, integration, validation, and operation of automated warehouse and packaging systems in a GMP-regulated environment. The role involves working with ASRS, AGVs, robotics, and PLC/HMI/SCADA systems to deliver reliable and compliant automation solutions.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in GMP/GxP-regulated manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with industrial automation and system integration
- Knowledge of PLC and HMI/SCADA platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Experience with robotics and automated material handling systems; ASRS and AGV experience preferred
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IIoT, and digital manufacturing technologies
- Understanding of commissioning, qualification, validation, and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OT/IT integration and industrial networking
- Knowledge of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV, and data integrity requirements
- Experience working with external vendors and leading automation projects
