Job description

Infectious Diseases Physician (BC/BE) Transplant & Immunocompromised Host Focus
Oakland/Richmond, California

TPMG is seeking a BC/BE Infectious Diseases physician to join our growing and collaborative ID team in a highly desirable East Bay location. This position is 0.8 FTE, with flexibility to increase FTE for the right candidate.

Position Highlights

  • Ideal candidate has formal training in Transplant Infectious Diseases OR a strong interest and experience in caring for immunocompromised hosts, particularly:
    • Hematologic malignancies
    • Cellular therapies (e.g., CAR-T)
    • Bone marrow transplant (BMT) recipients
  • Join a referral center for adults with leukemia and lymphoma with a rapidly expanding cellular therapies program
  • Work closely with an established physician leading the heme malignancy ID service, with opportunity to further grow the program
  • Participate in general ID call (1:6 rotation) alongside a collegial group of 5 ID physicians

Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Eligibility
  • Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA

Full-time annual salary range is $306,074 to $315,540 plus additional potential incentives up to $34,670*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
