What You ll Do
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery care focused on excellent patient outcomes
  • Work in a practice supported by experienced APPs to enhance clinic flow and continuity of care
  • Participate in a call rotation (ER call 7 days per month) with imaging review from home and minimal in-person requirements
  • Cover likely one weekend per month for call coverage
  • Coordinate care across clinic, OR, and inpatient settings
  • Utilize available neuro-navigation tools and EPIC for documentation (EMR)
  • Help build and grow an elective spine practice in an underserved community
What You Need
Required
  • Board-Eligible or Board-Certified neurosurgeon via ABNS (must be truly Board Eligible/Board Certified)
  • Commitment to team-based, high-quality patient care

Preferred
  • Experience with building elective practice growth in a community setting (including spine focus)
About the Assignment
UCHealth Medical Group and the Neurosurgery group in Pueblo, Colorado are seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Neurosurgeon to join an established, collegial team of one neurosurgeon and four experienced APPs. The role offers a balanced schedule (clinic/OR/flex), supportive coverage structures, and opportunities to expand elective spine services in an underserved community, with clinic co-located with pain services and on-site X-ray.
