We are currently seeking a
Housekeeping Inspector

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned)

  • Assisting in the daily operations of the housekeeping team to promote teamwork, motivation and morale, including training and developing new team members, assigning work, resolving team member concerns and evaluating team member performance.
  • Frequently conducting the daily opening of Housekeeping, including providing daily room assignments.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and productivity standards, including inspecting all guest rooms and public areas.
  • Assisting with monthly supply and equipment inventories.
  • Responding, appropriately, to guest requests and needs.
  • Ensuring a safe work environment, including monitoring chemical usage and ensuring hazardous substances are properly labeled.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • One or more years of hotel housekeeping inspector experience is strongly preferred.
  • Hilton Hotels experience and PEP property management system is strongly preferred.
ABILITIES
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Ability to operate a computer and computerized property management system.
  • Ability to extend arms, scrub, bend, stoop, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to recognize room numbers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  • Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and to wear personal protective equipment (gloves, masks, aprons) as required.
  • Ability to perform job functions independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to different duties and work situations, as needed.
COMPENSATION
  • $19.75 per hour starting pay.
  • $500 bonus after your first 90 days.
