Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Engineer-related occupation.
  • Position requires 3 years of experience in the following: Large-scale network design, including capacity allocation and growth forecasting; Network troubleshooting to resolve interruptions using established procedures and tools; Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) for exchanging routing information between autonomous systems; Designing technology-enabled automation to streamline network processes; and Writing readable and structured code in Python, C , or Go for software development utilizing engineering best practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $154,000 - $181,000 15% bonus target equity benefits determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
  • Conduct quantifiable analysis of network data and capacity forecast models to enhance scalability, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Evaluate network system inefficiencies and flaws to design and implement improved software, designs, and processes. Develop software to improve the performance, security, transparency, and manageability of network systems.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex software, hardware, and other network system problems with minimal guidance.
  • Scale systems sustainably by creating tools and automation that improve system reliability and operational velocity.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support multi-vendor, SDN-based wired and wireless networks.
