Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages such as C , Go, or Python.
  • Experience with network technologies or protocols, including VXLAN, BGP EVPN, 802.1x, LACP, encryption, key management, micro-segmentation, or ACLs.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Expert level certifications or equivalent level experience (e.g., CCIE/CCDE/JNCIE).
  • Experience with working in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Proven experience with large enterprise Office network design and operations in a global environment.
  • Expert in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • Intermediate to Expert level knowledge with Linux.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

  • Drive the development of solutions for Google's Enterprise network, executing new features qualification and validation through network development, deployment, operation, and optimization.
  • Scale systems sustainably through tools and automation, and evolve systems by driving change that improves reliability and velocity.
  • Deliver network dependability and network reliability by providing secure and reliable network services to the Google Enterprise Network team's customers.
  • Coordinate and take lead of assigned projects in all technical and communication aspects.
  • Collaborate with peer engineers towards achieving common goals in assigned projects.
