About the job EEG Technologist - Charleston, SC
Our client is seeking a full-time EEG technologist I-III in Charleston, SC. Relocation assistance available + up to $5,000 Sign-on bonus!! (applicable to night shift only)
Position Summary:
The Inpatient Electroencephalography (EEG) Technologist of Clinical Neurophysiology Services reports to the Manager of Clinical Neurophysiology Services. Under the indirect supervision of the EEG Coordinator or MD, the Inpatient EEG Technologist records neurophysiologic potentials by means of electronic equipment for the diagnosis and prognosis of diseases and conditions involving the nervous system. This position demonstrates competence and must be immediately available to provide assistance during all procedures.
Position Qualifications:
EEG Technician II Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited program of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology; or eligible for National Board Certification; or any combination of education and experience that warrants eligibility for National Board Certification required.
  • Must obtain EEG certification within 2 years of employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
EEG Technologist III Qualifications:
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology or the equivalent and registered as an EEG Technician by ABRET required and must be maintained.
  • One year EEG Technician work experience required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Salary:
  • EEG Technologist II- $39k- $51.5k
  • EEG Technologist III $43k- $56.5k
    • Overtime/Bonus opportunities available!
    • $1,000 Sign-Bonus for day shifts!
    • $2,500 Sign-Bonus for night shifts!
Schedule Rotation:
  • Night Shift: 7 pm-7:30 am, limited weekends
  • o EEG Tech III may work a few remote monitoring shifts (from home)!!!
    • No on-call!
