 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Reporting, Engineering Analytics

• Experience supporting:

              • Engineering organizations
              • Manufacturing organizations
              • Automotive organizations
              • Product Development organizations

• Experience managing large datasets.
              • Experience creating executive-level reports and dashboards.
              • Experience developing reporting metrics and analytics tools.
              • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and project activities.

• Experience supporting Technical Value Management (TVM) initiatives.
• Experience supporting cost-reduction programs.
• Experience with advanced Power BI development.

Job Summary:

The Engineering Data Analytics Specialist supports Technical Value Management (TVM) initiatives across powertrain engineering organizations by providing data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and project tracking support. The role enables engineering teams to achieve cost-reduction objectives through actionable insights derived from engineering and cost-related data. This position requires strong Power BI expertise, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to transform large datasets into executive-level reporting and business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities:

Data Analytics & Reporting

              • Analyze engineering and cost-related datasets.

              • Perform data mining and trend analysis.

              • Create executive-level visualizations and reports.

              • Develop standardized metrics and KPI reporting systems.

              • Improve reporting methodologies and data visibility.

Power BI & Dashboard Development

              • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards.

              • Automate reporting processes.

              • Support reporting efficiency initiatives.

              • Create business intelligence tools for engineering organizations.

Program Tracking & Coordination

              • Track cost-saving initiatives and project milestones.

              • Support engineering review meetings and status reporting.

              • Monitor implementation progress.

              • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, product development, and program teams.

Data Management & Continuous Improvement

              • Maintain data integrity and validate data accuracy.

              • Develop reporting metrics and analytics tools.

              • Support cross-functional teams and project activities.



Compensation: $25/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
