Job Location:

Austin, TX. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.

Role Overview:

The Regional Sales Leader will be responsible for leading the Americas Central Region teamto meet quarterly and annual sales targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing a high-performance sales team that consistently wins and meets / exceeds growth objectives including funnel creation, design wins, and revenue.

  • Develops value driven relationships with distribution channel partners to facilitate scale and results.

  • Responsible for sales resource deployment, and technical resource support plan, including recruiting, developing, and managing team performance relative to NXP financial and business goals.

  • Strategically enable development of executive level relationships at a specific set of named accounts to enable NXP products and services to be designed in.

  • As a key leadership team member, collaborates with peer leadership to create a harmonized America's strategy

  • Effectively communicates at an executive level across a range of technical, financial, and strategic topics.

  • Effectively manages escalations directed to the leadership team

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Semiconductor sales management experience in a fast paced, highly competitive, ever-changing sales environment

  • 10+ years Sales experience in the Semiconductor industry

  • Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to build a complex territory strategy to ensure both short- and long-term goals, objectives, and quotas for the regional sales teams.

  • Must have led quota carrying sales teams with demonstrated achievement

  • Proven ability to work effectively across all levels of very large and complex organizations

  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works with limited direction

  • Highly trusted individual who maintains and expects high standards for self and team

  • The ability to execute strategies skillfully involving multiple stakeholders

  • Entrepreneurial thinking, result oriented, customer focused

  • Very strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to meet business deadlines

  • In-depth Understanding of Americas Semiconductor Market including reference design influence and transnational accounts.

  • In-depth understanding of customers in broad market and distribution in the Central US region.

  • Strong knowledge/experience in using Sales tools, (Model N, Sales Force)

  • BSEE/MSEE required

  • Able to travel 40%+
