What this position entails


Media Buying & Strategic Placement

  • Maintain and grow our robust network of contacts with major trade and business publications, both within Arizona and across the country.
  • Lead the solicitation of rate cards and negotiate terms for both print and digital media to maximize client ROI.
  • Proactively identify and recommend advertising and sponsorship opportunities that position our clients as industry leaders and help them achieve their strategic objectives.


Public Relations, Content & Storytelling

  • Serve as a writer for high-stakes content, including award submittals, website copy, and client blogs.
  • Interview clients to extract "pearls" of information, crafting unique stories that capture the attention of target audiences and the press.
  • Identify, research and connect clients to earned media, sponsorships, speaking engagements, panel opportunities and podcasts that align to their strategic objectives.
  • Provide professional PR representation and support during client events and industry gatherings.
  • Ensure a consistent, authoritative brand voice across the content you craft for our clients, including blog, social media, award submittals and website.


Project Management & Internal Coordination

  • Own timelines, scopes, and workflows for multiple accounts using Small Giants project management system (ClickUp).
  • Work collaboratively with designers, strategists, PR, and leadership to ensure flawless execution.
  • Uphold the agencys standard of responsiveness, accuracy, and reliability.


Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance and marketing KPIs.
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to clients.
  • Use data to refine strategy, improve performance, and inform future planning.



Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience (post graduation) in a public relations, media-buying or marketing agency role, ideally within a B2B marketing or agency environment.
  • Industry experience working in or with commercial real estate, construction, professional services, or similarly complex B2B industries strongly preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, lead meetings, and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Familiarity with ClickUp, Basecamp, WordPress, Hootsuite, Cision or similar platforms.
  • Willingness to travel across Small Giants offices and as needed to support collaboration and client initiatives.
  • Available to work in-office Monday through Friday.
