Summary:
The Director has overall responsibility for hospital utilization, performance improvement and operational management of the Case Management Department in order to promote effective utilization of hospital resources, ensure processes support appropriate reimbursement for services rendered and that patients receive quality care in the most cost-effective manner. In addition, responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating care in accordance with the vision and goals of the facility and regulatory guidelines as set by state and federal rules.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal four-year program. Master's degree preferred.
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program/school (RN Diploma, AD/AS in Nursing, BSN, or MSN).

Experience:
  • Seven years of related acute hospital experience including management.

Credentials:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a Florida multi-state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is required.
  • CCM or ACM certifications preferred.
