Rapidly Growing HomeCare Program
Location: San Joaquin and Sacramento Counties
Schedule: On-call / Flexible hours (Monday–Friday, weekends as needed)
Pay: $18-21 per hour

As a Caregiver for Back-up Care, you’ll step in to care for children and/or adults ranging from infants to seniors in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. You’ll support working families by ensuring their little ones are happy, secure, and having fun while parents handle their workday stress-free.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide age-appropriate care, supervision, and recreational activities for children and senior care.

  • Follow established routines and care plans to ensure safety and comfort.

  • Maintain open, positive communication with parents/families and the Bright Horizons team.

  • Support daily routines, including meals, rest, creative play, and learning activities for children.

  • Ensure a clean, organized, environment.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Must obtain HCA You can go here to register: https://guardian.dss.ca.gov/applicant The PIN Number is E4SDTU. Register yourself with the California Department of Social Services ($35), background check ($70) and negative TB test)
    Must have your CPR/First Aid (we can help you get one at a subsidized cost). We can help you through this process!

  • High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education a plus.

  • Experience caring for children or adults in a home, center, or school setting (minimum 6 months preferred).

  • Ability to complete a background check (you will complete a livescan and background through Checkr), CPR/First Aid certification, and required online training.

  • Friendly, reliable, and flexible — ready to adapt to different home or center environments.
