Job description

Urgently Hiring- Qualified Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher

Bright Eyes Early Learning Centers is actively seeking a responsible, caring, motivated teacher to join our team. We are seeking an energetic, flexible, child care professional to care for children between the ages 6 weeks to 18 months.

Bright Eyes Early Learning Centers are family owned and operated, with locations serving Montgomery, Frederick, and Washington County’s in Maryland. We are searching for dedicated applicants that are flexible and prepared to be a vital member of the Bright Eyes team.

We are looking for applicants who can/to:
  • maintain the safety and wellbeing of all children in a safe nurturing learning environment free to learn and grow.
  • enable all children to grow physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively at their own pace.
  • maintain developmentally appropriate activities, lesson plans, follow routines, and engage with children while supervising.
  • maintain cleanliness in the classroom, in common areas, and maintain safety and security.
  • communicate effectively and compassionately with children, parents and other staff.
  • be a team player, flexible and reliable.
  • continue training and further professional development in Early Childhood Education.
  • Requirements for all applicants:

    Aides: 16+ years of age or older and can provide a valid Work Permit

    Teachers/ Substitutes: 18+ years of age or older.

    Bus Drivers: 21+ years of age, with a clean driving record

  • Must complete an employee physical and TB test
  • Must complete fingerprinting and pass a criminal background check
  • Must have or complete CPR & First Aid certification within 60 days or hire.
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Continuous training and classes to maintain a MSDE credential.
  • Teacher Qualifications:
  • AA in Early Childhood education/ 90 HR Preschool Course/ 45 HR Infant/Toddler Course
  • Supporting Breastfeeding
  • ADA certificate
  • Basic Health and Safety training
  • Covid Training
  • Any training required by MSDE and maintain proof of training and certifications.
  • Aide Qualifications:
  • Child Care and/or babysitting experience preferred
  • Any training required by MSDE and maintain proof of training and certifications.
  • Pay:

    Teacher: Starting at $19.50

    Aide: Starting at $17.00
