Job description

Job Summary
Salary Range: $18.00 to $19.00 Per Hour based on education, experience and shift hours.
This position offers floor support to the Manufacturing Team. This is a position that requires a positive attitude and demonstrates a willingness to support teamwork. This position requires that the individual is flexible, adaptable and willing to move where needed to support the Manufacturing Floor.
Responsibilities
1. Provides resources to assemble, test, and packaging support for various Medical Device Manufacturing Production Lines.
2. Performs basic electro-mechanical assembly and quality control inspections. These functions are to be performed in a timely manner to meet quality and productivity goals of the department.
3. Utilizes hand held tools such as hand-held screw drivers and electric torque drivers.
4. Maintains appropriate inventory of material at assigned work station.
5. Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established procedures.
6. Identifies product defects and effectively document the defect when identified.
7. Maintains a clean and safe work area.
8. Performs all applicable work steps in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
9. Documents actions and products by completing required quality and production forms.
10. Other duties as assigned.
All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic reading and writing skills. Must be able to follow step-by-step directions.
  • Basic computer navigation skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to identify material and information on parts.
  • Adequate written and verbal communication skills.
  • Regularly lift parts and components up to 30 pounds
