A French Translator converts written documents from French to another language or vice versa, ensuring that the original meaning, tone, and context are accurately maintained. They may work with a variety of materials such as books, legal documents, business correspondence, or websites. In literature, meanwhile, you choose works of poetry or fiction to translate for a French language copy. You may work as a scholar, a translator for publishers that specialize in translations, or as a freelancer. French is also the second language of the United Nations, so many French translators work in a capacity with world organizations.

What are some common challenges faced by French translators when working with specialized or technical documents?
