What We Look For In a AP French Language and Culture Tutor

  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with AP French Language and Culture curriculum and common challenges such as understanding rapid native speech, mastering subjunctive usage, and integrating cultural knowledge into presentational tasks. Adapts instruction using authentic French media, interpersonal communication practice, and AP-style task rehearsal to support students at the intermediate-high to advanced proficiency levels targeting the AP examination.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
