Helping customers satisfy their transportation needs since 1986, Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is an expanded network of 19 dealerships doing business as Gordon Truck Centers, Freightliner Northwest, Western Star Northwest, TrailerCraft, Western Mountain Bus and Freightliner of Hawaii. As a full-service Freightliner, Western Star, Wilson Trailer dealership family, GTC can sell, finance, insure and service commercial trucks for medium and heavy-duty applications.
Responsibilities
  • Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
  • Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
  • Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.
  • Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
  • Develop technical skills through training opportunities.
  • Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.

Qualifications
Compensation
Based upon level of skill and experience, hourly compensation is $20.00 to $50.00. Night shift, weekend shift, and lead/mentor differential pay available.
