Summary

The Junior Logistics Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of freight payment reconciliation processes. Responsible for verifying and reconciling invoices with provisioned amounts, this role demands a meticulous eye for detail and advanced Excel proficiency. With regular interaction with both internal payment teams and external freight suppliers, the analyst will navigate complex data to guarantee timely and precise payments, while also monitoring costs to uphold budgetary standards.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Receive and collect freight invoices from carriers.
  • Conduct reconciliation of freight invoices, comparing them with the values provisioned by the company.
  • Maintain regular contact with the company's payment department and freight suppliers to ensure accuracy and timeliness in payments.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze and frame data, ensuring correct payment of company freight.
  • Monitor freight costs and ensure they are within established budgets.
Position Specifications and Requirements
  • Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Previous experience in freight payment reconciliation is considered an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
  • High analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with the payment team and suppliers.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
