Senior Project Logistics Specialist


Introduction

We are looking for a Senior Project Logistics Specialist to join our Services Project Logistics team. In this role, you will support project logistics operations by coordinating end-to-end shipments, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate data and communication, contributing to successful project execution and on-time delivery. You will report to the Project Logistics Manager. 


This role is based in York, PA, but we open to reviewing candidates in Brookfield, WI, Canada, and Mexico with hybrid working options available.

This role includes approximately 10% travel domestically.

Team you will belong to


You will join a team of 7 project logistics professionals focused on international logistics coordination and execution. Our team plays a key role in ensuring smooth project delivery by managing complex global shipments and compliance requirements, with a shared focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
We collaborate closely with freight forwarders, carriers, distribution centers, and internal project teams, and our ways of working emphasize clear communication, accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork. 

What you'll do

  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics activities and multi-modal transport solutions for allocated projects
  • Prepare shipping and customs documentation for global imports and exports across multiple entities
  • Support trade compliance by reviewing documentation and ensuring regulatory adherence
  • Monitor shipment status and update systems such as SAP/TM/SMM and shipment trackers
  • Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and distribution centers to track deliveries
  • Coordinate last-mile delivery operations and manage exceptions and delays
  • Provide insights to support negotiations with 3PLs, 4PLs, and logistics service providers
  • Support team development by assisting in mentoring, training, and continuous improvement initiatives 

What you'll bring:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Sound knowledge of INCOTERMS and international trade concepts
  • Good understanding of supply chain and logistics processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP/TM/SMM systems
  • Strong communication skills for working with vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Certificate IV in Business (or similar field) or progress toward such qualification
  • Minimum 12 months of experience in an international logistics role or similar environment 

Nice to have:

  • Experience with customs clearance, vendor management, and claims management
  • Experience handling complex shipments and logistics coordination in project environments

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is $82,000-$88,0000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on skills, experience, and rolerelated qualifications.
