This role supports our rapid growth and ongoing transformational initiatives in the Nashville market.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales/Account Executive with a proven track record in freight forwarding salesโ€”ideally with strong air freight forwarding expertiseโ€”to drive new business and support the Nashville (BNA) business unit. The role focuses on sales development, client relationship management, operational support (customer service, compliance, SOPs, and KPIs), and contributing to overall profitability while aligning with company strategic goals.

Duties Include
  • Research, identify, and recommend high-potential prospects for new business opportunities
  • Analyze sales strategies and options to optimize revenue and market penetration
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and prospects
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify improvements, new services, or product recommendations
  • Collect, analyze, and report on sales data, preparing insightful reports for leadership
  • Attend industry workshops, training sessions, and events to enhance technical and professional skills
  • Develop and nurture professional networks within the logistics and freight forwarding community
  • Conduct client meetings to assess needs, propose tailored solutions (with emphasis on air freight capabilities), and close deals
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Salesforce CRM proficiently for daily operations and reporting
Summary of Desired Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent (higher education in business, logistics, or related field preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on sales experience in a freight forwarding environment (strong preference for direct air freight sales experience, including quoting, negotiating rates, and managing time-sensitive shipments)
  • Demonstrated competency in English (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (HubSpot or Salesforce experience highly desirable)
