THE OPPORTUNITY
We are searching for a driven and experienced Account Executive to join our client’s freight forwarding team in Montreal. This is a growth-focused sales role where you will develop new business, manage and expand an existing client base, and deliver tailored international freight solutions. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
· Identify, target, and onboard new accounts within your assigned territory while retaining and growing existing client relationships
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers across your portfolio
· Understand each client’s unique supply chain challenges and present freight solutions aligned with their business objectives
· Drive volume, revenue, and profitability targets through a consultative, solutions-based sales approach
· Prepare and present proposals, RFQs, RFIs, and contracts — and follow through to close
· Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions in the CRM
· Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve client issues proactively
· Represent the brand at local business events and networking opportunities to build market presence
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in international freight forwarding (air freight and/or ocean freight)
· Solid understanding of the freight forwarding industry, including international logistics processes and products
· Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
· Strong communicator — confident presenting to clients and building lasting business relationships
· Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing a full sales cycle independently
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
· Bilingualism (French and English) required for this Montreal-based role

VOS RESPONSABILITÉS
· Identifier, cibler et intégrer de nouveaux comptes dans votre territoire, tout en fidélisant et développant la clientèle existante
· Établir et entretenir des relations solides avec les décideurs clés de votre portefeuille
· Comprendre les enjeux logistiques propres à chaque client et proposer des solutions de fret adaptées à leurs objectifs d’affaires
· Atteindre et dépasser les objectifs de volume, de revenus et de rentabilité grâce à une approche de vente consultative
· Préparer et présenter des propositions, appels d’offres, RFI et contrats — et assurer le suivi jusqu’à la conclusion
· Maintenir un CRM à jour avec l’ensemble des activités de vente, du pipeline et des interactions clients
· Collaborer avec les équipes opérationnelles pour assurer une prestation de service irréprochable et résoudre proactivement les problèmes clients
· Représenter la marque lors d’événements locaux et d’activités de réseautage pour accroître la notoriété sur le marché
CE QUE NOUS RECHERCHONS
· Minimum 3 ans d’expérience en vente B2B dans le fret international (fret aérien et/ou fret maritime)
· Bonne connaissance de l’industrie du fret international, des processus logistiques et des produits associés
· Bilan démontré d’atteinte et de dépassement des objectifs de vente
· Excellentes aptitudes en communication — à l’aise pour présenter à des clients et établir des relations durables
· Autonomie, sens de l’organisation et capacité à gérer un cycle de vente complet de manière indépendante
· Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Permis de conduire valide et accès à un véhicule
· Bilinguisme (français et anglais) requis pour ce poste basé à Montréal
