What You'll Do
You will support the day-to-day cleanliness, readiness and overall upkeep of the facility. This position is focused on high-quality custodial servicing, routine inspections and operational support to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.
  • Clean and sanitize office areas, conference rooms, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Maintain hanger, warehouse, and shop floors, including operation of a motorized floor scrubber.
  • Preform routine sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and general interior cleaning tasks.
  • Empty and replace trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
  • Wash interior and exterior windows as assigned.
  • Conduct routine facility inspection to identify cleaning needs, safety hazards, or issues requiring escalation.
  • Support internal relocation, event setups, office moves and basic furniture configuration (chairs, tables, small modular pieces)
  • Pick up supplies from approved local vendors as requested
  • Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked.
  • Assist the Facilities team with other operational tasks as assigned.

What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Prior custodial or facilities support experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety practices
  • Professional communication and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving operational environment
  • Capability to read and understand cleaning instructions, safety rules, and SDS documents
  • Valid Michigan driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. routinely: up to 75 lbs. with assistance on occasion
  • Comfortable operating custodial machinery and equipment
  • Able to work in an aviation-driven environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Work performed in offices, hangers, restrooms, break areas, and warehouse environments
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, and active operational areas
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required where applicable
