Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as a Transportation Analyst
The Role:
Toyota Material Handling is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Transportation Analyst. This position will be responsible supporting day-to-day operations for inbound and outbound shipping. They will be working with various transportation companies and internal customers to ensure on time deliveries.
Essential Position Duties:
  • Provide customer service support to internal and external customers
  • Gather data from carrier scorecard
  • Analyze and process freight damage claims
  • Support development of yearly budget for departments
  • Gather data for development of cost saving measures
  • Foster carrier relations with good communication and conflict resolution
  • Process freight and invoices
  • Support process improvement activity within the Transportation Department
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Certifications in Logistics related field preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the different forms of transportation (intermodal and over the road)
  • Ability to work with customers and carriers via telephone
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of TMS
  • Proficiency with SAP preferred

  • This is an in-person role located at our Columbus, Indiana office-ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
  • Travel: up to 20% (domestic and international)

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Salary - $65,000 - $85,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
