Job description

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Order Selector with Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) certification to join our warehouse team. The Order Selector is responsible for accurately picking customer orders, building pallets, operating an EPJ, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining productivity and safety standards. EPJ operators commonly work in dry, cooler, and freezer warehouse environments and are responsible for safely transporting products throughout the facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Select customer orders accurately using pick sheets, RF scanners, or voice-picking systems.
  • Operate an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Build stable pallets according to company and customer requirements.
  • Wrap, label, and stage completed orders for shipment.
  • Verify product quantities, codes, and descriptions for accuracy.
  • Load and transport products throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintain production quotas and accuracy standards.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned, including cleaning and inventory support.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Current EPJ (Electric Pallet Jack) certification required.
  • Previous order selecting or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Experience with RF scanners or voice-picking systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
