Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lincoln, Illinois.

Job Role: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele 

Job Description:

Position / Specialty: MS/Tele RN
Shift: 3x12 Nights (1830-0700)
Avg. Daily Census: 19. 30 bed unit.
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 3 years' experience required.
First-timers accepted: Yes.
Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend.
Certs REQ: ACLS and BLS required. NIH preferred.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - If low census, will float within skill level
Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
Must have active IL license in hand to apply.
RTO Restrictions: Discuss time off requests with manager.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.


Special Requirements: MS/Tele and Tele experience required. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response 

Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. 

Required Endocrine/Metabolic Skills/Experience: IV insulin protocols, Titration of insulin drips. Feeding tube care and management experience required. Experience with patients with Renal failure required. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Titrate Vasoactive drips. Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: CVA. Experience with Total Joint Replacements required. Required Respiratory Skills/Experience: External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management. Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Community Hospital Experience Preferred.
