Job description

Overview
This RN position is for every weekend.
2x 10-hour shifts ( Saturday and Sunday)
The Community Hospice RN is responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family within their home setting, focusing on symptom management and pain control. The quality of care provided will be consistent with the Standards of Practice determined for the hospice program.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures. Prior experience in home care, hospice and/or oncology preferred.
Job Details
Minimum Requirements:
  • Current and valid NY State license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • One to two years recent acute care nursing experience with excellent assessment skills.
    Must have a current, valid NY State driver's license and own transportation.

Posted Salary Range
USD $65.00 - USD $75.00 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
