**NEW JERSEY & GREATER PHILADELPHIA**

 

Seeking Qualified Medical/Community & Legal Interpreters for the following languages:

 

Spanish in North Jersey & Jersey Shore Areas

Bengali in South Jersey

Turkish in South Jersey

Uzbek in Southern NJ or PA

Italian in North Jersey

Tagalog in Southern NJ or PA

Ukrainian in Southern NJ or PA

Russian in North & South Jersey

Required Credentials:

  • 40-hour professional interpreter training course or equivalent credentials and experience.
  • Proficiency evaluation or equivalent to demonstrate bilingualism (letter of recommendation on your interpretation experience, coursework related to your spoken languages, etc)
  • Submit a current State or Federal background check.

Para-Plus Translations, Inc. is seeking qualified medical and legal interpreters for freelance opportunities to include medical appointments, hospitals, mental health facilities, educational meetings, in-home social visits and counseling sessions. Legal assignments include municipal courts, depositions, client/attorney meetings, and arbitrations. In-person availability is a MUST,  scheduled VRI and OPI assignments may also be available in addition to in-person assignments. All qualified applicants will be required to complete our onboarding process and complete a background check if you do not currently have one.
