Job description

Remote Editor/Motion Graphics Artist
Please Note: This is a remote, part-time contract position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. We are looking to fill this role immediately.
About the Role
Are you the kind of editor who instinctively knows when a cut is too slow, a hook isn't strong enough, or motion graphics need more energy?
Do you understand how short-form content actually performs on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn? Not just how to make videos look good, but how to make people stop scrolling and keep watching?
We move fast. Content is constantly being produced across multiple platforms, and attention is earned in seconds. Great editing isn't optional here. It's one of the biggest drivers of engagement, retention, and performance.
We're looking for someone who can take raw footage and transform it into content that feels dynamic, intentional, and built for modern audiences. Someone who understands pacing, storytelling, motion, and the small creative decisions that separate average content from videos people actually finish watching.
That's where you come in.
As a Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist at Crisp, you'll work directly with our Creative Director and content team to create high-performing short-form and long-form marketing content. Motion graphics will play a central role in your work, helping bring movement, personality, and polish into every edit.
This is not a one-off freelance project role. We're looking for someone we can build a long-term creative partnership with - someone who wants consistent work, reliable project flow, and the opportunity to become an integrated part of the creative process over time.
If you're someone who obsesses over pacing, studies what makes content perform, and enjoys turning raw footage into something people can't stop watching, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day-to-day social media execution and management including Edit and produce short-form and long-form marketing videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
  • Work directly with the Creative Director to develop hooks, pacing, and story structures that maximize viewer retention and engagement.
  • Collaborate with in-house content creators to ensure videos align with brand voice, tone, and creative direction.
  • Create motion graphics and animations that bring energy, movement, and personality into every cut.
  • Add accurate English captions and on-screen text that improve accessibility and viewer engagement.
  • Use b-roll, sound design, music, transitions, and visual storytelling techniques to strengthen messaging and improve watch time.
  • Continuously test and refine editing styles, hooks, pacing, and creative approaches based on platform performance.
  • Maintain fast turnaround times while balancing a high volume of content production.
  • Organize project files and maintain consistency across deliverables and formats.

Requirements:
  • Portfolio or proven track record editing short-form and long-form marketing content that has generated strong engagement across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
  • Strong motion graphics and animation skills with the ability to create visually engaging assets for fast-paced digital content.
  • Strong understanding of narrative structure, pacing, hooks, and viewer psychology across both short-form and long-form content.
  • Experience using captions, b-roll, music, sound effects, and on-screen text to improve retention and storytelling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a larger creative or marketing team environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight turnaround timelines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and implement creative feedback quickly.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of managing projects independently in a remote work environment.

Position Details:
  • Part-time contract role.
  • Approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Remote position.
  • Immediate start preferred.
  • Opportunity for long-term ongoing partnership based on performance.
