Job description

For more than 33 years, MasterWord has been a trusted provider of language access solutions, helping organizations communicate effectively across cultures and languages. We deliver interpretation, translation, and localization services in more than 250 languages across four continents. Our interpreters support clients in a wide range of settings, including healthcare facilities, schools, courtrooms, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and leading businesses, making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.


We are looking for individuals who speak both Spanish and English fluently and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the community by helping those who do not speak English. If you meet the requirements listed below and are looking for the flexibility of working on an as-needed basis, we are interested in seeing your resume. This Is for In-Person Interpreting*

Requirements:

  • Have informal or professional interpretation experience
  • Are fluent in both Spanish and English
  • Prefer - Interpreting or language proficiency certification 
  • Prefer - 6 months+ experience
  • No experience required (you will need to pass training and testing)
  • Have at least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience) are required.

Community interpreting experience is preferred.
