Job description

As our Six Sigma Black Belt Project Manager, you will work across divisions in the organization, leading enterprise-wide projects. Partner directly with division leaders, managers and executives to lead large, complex projects from strategy through successful rollout. Make improvements that have measurable company wide impact.

Six Sigma Black Belt Project Manager – Your Impact

You will work directly with executive management throughout all of the Company departments to identify and progress complex initiatives from idea through implementation and post-implementation evaluation.

  • Lead multiple complex projects from planning through rollout, keeping work on time, within scope and on budget
  • Partner with executives, divisional leaders and cross-functional teams to define goals, gather input, make decisions and keep projects moving
  • Build project plans, business cases, budgets, timelines, risk assessments and communications
  • Use Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methods to improve processes, efficiency, productivity, quality and customer experience
  • Lead process improvement efforts including process mapping, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, waste elimination and Kaizen events
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify opportunities, measure results and validate financial impact
  • Establish project goals and KPIs, and communicate progress through dashboards, reports and executive presentations
  • Lead cross-functional teams across divisions and locations, building accountability and influencing results without direct authority
  • Drive change management and adoption of new processes and technology while identifying and removing barriers to success
  • Maintain key project documentation and portfolios while supporting broader strategic and operational improvement efforts

 

Six Sigma Black Belt Project Manager – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)

You have:

  • Prior experience leading large scale, complex projects from initiation through implementation
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Strong knowledge of structured project management and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience developing project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, KPIs and executive level reporting
  • The communication and presentation skills to work directly with executives, division leaders, managers and project teams
  • The ability to travel to company locations throughout Northern California (no overnight travel)
  • A business and operations focused project management background. (This is not an IT only, software development, coding or Scrum focused Project Manager opportunity)

You might have:

  • PMP certification
  • Prior experience in the construction industry, heavy equipment, industrial operations or a related environment

Six Sigma Black Belt Project Manager – Benefits for You

Your compensation will be $125,000 to $145,000 annually, depending on your experience, plus a generous formal incentive bonus package.

You can be based in the Stockton or Roseville area office and will travel to company locations throughout Northern California as projects require.
