This position allows for a flexible work setting as it is completely remote. You will join a collaborative team of healthcare professionals who are this clinic’s backbone, providing integrated care to our patients. You will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring that you have all the necessary resources at your fingertips to support your clients effectively. Our remote environment fosters autonomy and flexibility while ensuring a structured approach to client care.

• Conduct thorough patient intakes, performing diagnostic and functional evaluations, and make informed recommendations to the primary care provider for personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver brief, focused mental health interventions to clients needing immediate assistance, while working to meet weekly productivity targets for billable services.
• Partner with primary care providers to identify patients who may require specialty mental health services, ensuring streamlined referral processes.
• Initiate and monitor follow-ups with clients to assess their progress and make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.
• Create and implement relapse prevention strategies for clients at risk of regression, and support them in maintaining stable functioning.
• Document all patient interactions, therapeutic interventions, and diagnostic information in accordance with agency standards, maintaining compliance and confidentiality at all times.
• Educate clients on self-management skills and healthier lifestyle choices to enhance their involvement in their own treatment journeys.
• Provide insightful consultation to clinic management and team members about mental health services and measures for program evaluation.
• Support clients in adhering to prescribed medical treatments initiated by their primary care provider, including coping strategies for medication side effects.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct in all interactions with clients and colleagues, adhering to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.

The LPC will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. The clinic serves a wide range of demographics, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry of Dallas. As a counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing accessible mental health services, ensuring that all patients feel supported, understood, and valued.

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• A current and valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) License.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, and a variety of therapeutic modalities including family therapy, group therapy, and child psychotherapy.
• Proficiency in DSM-IV diagnoses and behavioral therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to effectively maintain patient records.
• Mental and physical health sufficient to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

• Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, facilitating communication with a broader patient base.
• Experience in a community health setting or with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) is a plus.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling best practices.

Mountain Springs Wellness & Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range from USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
