Job description

Sports Content Creator

US, Remote - max 12 hours per week

Contractor, 6 month contract

About TxODDS

TXODDS is a premier provider of ultra low-latency, accurate odds data, fast scores, and innovative betting solutions for the global sports betting industry. With offices in London, Chicago, and Belgrade - and team members working worldwide - we deliver cutting-edge technology and data products that power some of the world’s top sportsbooks.

About the Role

We're looking for content creators based in the US who live and breathe social media, understand internet culture, and know how to make content people actually want to watch.

This is a freelance, 6-month contract to help to bring TxScores to life across our social media channels, creating fast-paced, personality-led videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts. We're not looking for polished presenters or studio-quality production, we're looking for creators with natural charisma and a style that suits social media.

You'll work alongside another US-based creator, collaborating on some content while producing your own videos independently. Together, you'll cover US sport, with a particular focus on college basketball and other major sporting moments throughout the year.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create 2–3 short-form videos each week for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.

  • Produce engaging sports content including predictions, reactions, hot takes, game previews and post-game analysis and trending conversations.

  • React quickly to breaking news and key sporting moments, creating timely content that capitalises on trending conversations.

  • Pitch fresh ideas and create videos designed to spark conversation and drive engagement.

  • Collaborate with fellow creators and the marketing team on campaigns and content briefs

  • Be an authentic voice for TxODDS while bringing your own personality and creative style.

  • Attend occasional sporting events where required to capture original content.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Be based in the United States

  • Passionate about US sports, particularly college basketball

  • Confident and engaging on camera with a natural presenting style

  • Strong understanding of what performs across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

  • Able to grab attention quickly with compelling hooks and engaging storytelling

  • Comfortable filming yourself using a smartphone or simple creator setup

  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work to tight deadlines

  • Able to develop content ideas and confidently improvise or work from light scripts

  • Keep up with the US sports calendar and can react quickly to live events and breaking news

  • Available for occasional evenings and weekends to align with live sporting events

  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable working remotely with a distributed team

What You’ll Get From Us:

At TxODDS, you’ll be part of a well-established, technology-first company with ambitious growth plans and a global footprint. You’ll work alongside brilliant minds in a culture that’s fun, relaxed, and hardworking - where innovation and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.

We offer a competitive benefits package tailored to your location, and we’re happy to share more details during the hiring process.

Interview Process

We like to keep things straightforward and respectful of your time. Please note, we use AI tools to record calls during the process. This helps us give you our full attention in the conversation and ensures we can review discussions accurately.
