Job description

FREELANCE REMOTE DESIGNER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Brella is looking for a highly creative and bold thinking designer with the potential to work across multiple platforms. We are seeking a designer who can envision and execute a creative commercial style on corporate projects.
While often working within existing client brand guidelines, we still push our creative to pop off the screen, create greater user engagement and wow our clients. Our design team is nimble, operates across production departments (events, video, web) and flexes as needed between quick turn and large-scale projects.
A baseline of traditional graphic design skills is required. Additional skills to work in web design or motion graphics are highly preferred. Any designer in this role will be expected to learn and develop skills across all mediums with the aid of training and experience.
Strong technical skills required in:
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

Technical skills preferred:
  • Adobe XD, Figma, After Effects, PowerPoint

The designer may work on any of the following depending on skill set:
  • Web projects: the designer will lead the visual design and its integration with UX/UI. Includes creation of wireframes, prototypes and final art assets.
  • Motion graphics projects: the designer will help design the overall art style, create mood boards, storyboards and custom assets, and animate.
  • Events projects: the designer will create custom virtual environments that engage attendees, create and refine presentations, and create any support materials needed.

Skills
  • Meet with clients, internal and external, to understand needs and share ideas
  • Ability to partner with other creative team members and key stakeholders to create content used across a variety of platforms (web, mobile, video, and more)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong project management skills
  • Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines
  • Respond to user feedback, data/analytics, and client feedback to improve the creative work in future iterations
  • Commit to staying current with software developments and design trends.
