Job description

ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world's leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.
ASML is looking for an experienced Product Development Manager to lead the development and execution of our eScan1xxx (5x5 Multibeam) product roadmap. In this highly visible leadership role, you will guide large-scale, cross-functional programs that bring cutting-edge semiconductor inspection and metrology solutions from concept through volume production. You will work at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and execution, aligning engineering teams, business stakeholders, and customers to deliver breakthrough products that create value for ASML and our customers worldwide.
Reporting to the Head of e-Beam Inspection & Metrology Programs, you will lead multidisciplinary teams across Development & Engineering and other ASML sectors, driving complex programs that shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead Product Development Programs
  • Chair the eScan1xxx Product Team and provide leadership across the product portfolio.
  • Drive the development, execution, and delivery of complex product programs from definition through volume production.
  • Translate customer and business requirements into program objectives, deliverables, milestones, and execution plans.
  • Own program scope, schedule, resources, risks, and budget to successfully deliver within agreed business objectives.

Drive Cross-Functional Execution
  • Lead and align teams across multiple engineering disciplines, functions, and global locations.
  • Ensure seamless integration across product development, operations, manufacturing, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage program dependencies, critical paths, and key risks while proactively driving mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Balance technical innovation, customer expectations, and business priorities to achieve successful outcomes.

Influence Strategic Stakeholders
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders across ASML sectors and functions.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies that promote collaboration, transparency, and effective decision-making.
  • Partner with Product Management and customers to align product roadmaps with market and technology needs.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical program issues and strategic customer concerns.

Build High-Performing Teams
  • Provide indirect leadership for large, complex organizations.
  • Create alignment around program vision, priorities, and desired outcomes.
  • Develop organizational capability through coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience leading complex product development, program management, or project management initiatives within semiconductor capital equipment or related high-technology industries.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale, cross-functional development programs.
  • Experience managing the full product lifecycle, from product definition through manufacturing release and volume production.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, portfolio management, and development processes.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and aligning diverse stakeholder groups around common objectives.
  • Experience engaging directly with strategic customers and translating customer requirements into development plans.
