This role will support a large oil & gas client portfolio with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and site closure under ECMC requirements. This role is based out of our Wheat Ridge, CO office with flexibility for hybrid work and periodic field and client site visits.
You will manage a high-volume portfolio of projects through the full compliance lifecycle-from initial investigation to final closure-while coordinating technical teams and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables. Essential Position Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of oil & gas remediation and compliance projects
- Coordinate and oversee field activities, including:
- Soil and groundwater sampling
- Monitoring well installation
- Remediation system implementation and oversight
- Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documents, including:
- Spill reports (Form 19)
- Site investigation and remediation plans (Form 27)
- Ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations, including ECMC, CDPHE, and U.S. EPA requirements
- Develop scopes of work, work plans, cost estimates, and proposals
- Manage project budgets, schedules, invoicing, and overall financial performance
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams
- Serve as a primary client point of contact, managing communication, expectations, and deliverables
- Prepare and review technical reports, data summaries, and closure documentation
- Maintain project data, tracking systems, and regulatory deadlines
- Support additional environmental work such as Phase I/II ESAs and spill response as needed
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and project closure acceleration
- Stay current on evolving ECMC rules and industry best practices
- Uphold and promote company safety standards and OSHA compliance

Licenses/Certifications Required: B.S. in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or closely related field. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. 5+ years of environmental experience, including project management. Strong working knowledge of Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) regulations, including 900 Series Rules.
Preferred Licenses/Certifications: 5+ years of environmental experience, including project management. PEC SafeLand USA certification; Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license; Experience with remediation system design or AutoCAD; Experience working directly with ECMC regulators and closure processes
