  • Collaborating closely with IT experts, engineering teams, and stakeholders to capture, challenge, and prioritize monitoring requirements, while aligning delivery choices with company objectives, risk constraints, and strategic priorities.
  • Designing and leading the implementation of monitoring, alerting, dashboarding, log ingestion, and automation solutions, aligned with business, operational, architecture, and control requirements.
  • Leading architecture and design discussions across infrastructure and application domains, influencing target solutions and ensuring implementations are sustainable, secure, scalable, and fit for purpose.

    • Developing and maintaining automation solutions to reduce manual effort, improve service quality, controls and enhance scalability.
    • Ensuring compliance with operational standards, security requirements, and controls in a highly regulated environment.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members by coaching on solution design, troubleshooting approaches, operational excellence, shaping standards and supporting capability growth across the squad and beyond.
  • Taking ownership of complex crossโ€‘team initiatives and influencing the technical roadmap for observability and automation capabilities in line with enterprise priorities.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
    • Participating in the Watchโ€‘Duty rotation, as well as supporting outโ€‘ofโ€‘hours activities such as weekend releases and critical interventions when required.

Your profile

  • Hold a Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science or equivalent through experience.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in senior engineering roles with ownership of complex technical topics.

  • Be comfortable leading technical discussions, influencing key design decisions, challenging proposals when needed, and engaging constructively with stakeholders across multiple technology domains.
  • Show strong analytical skills, a structured and proactive mindset, and the ability to work autonomously on complex and ambiguous topics while balancing technical excellence, operational stability, control requirements, and customer needs.
  • Be open to change, able to lead transformation in tools, processes and ways of working, and willing to share expertise, coach others, and contribute to the growth of the team.
