Swishbreaks

Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

Swish Breaks, headquartered in NYC, is redefining live shopping at scale. We operate at the intersection of sports, culture, and commerce, moving 100K+ orders a month across Whatnot, Fanatics Live, TikTok, and our own digital experiences. This isn’t a corporate gig. It’s a front-row seat to building the future of live commerce with a team that moves at the speed of culture and expects real ownership. If you want to shape what people watch, talk about, and buy in real time—this is the arena.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Swish redefines live shopping as entertainment, you will shape our visual language. Your designs will reach millions across live streams and social media, setting new standards for the industry. You'll translate Swish’s culture into cutting-edge graphics, motion, and design systems for our dynamic content engine. This role bridges brand, content, production, and creators, crafting visuals that define this new category. Your work will include broadcast graphics, channel IDs, motion/animation, promotional assets, thumbnails, templates, and community kits—all designed to push boundaries and define the future of live entertainment design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Create high-quality graphics: overlays, lower thirds, animations, transitions, thumbnails, and social/motion elements

  • Build and maintain a modular design system for rapid content generation

  • Develop templates and motion packages for various channels, shows, and creators

  • Turn creative direction into clean, shippable assets that elevate production quality

  • Partner with the streaming team to deliver graphics that suit daily needs

  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance data

  • Prototype visual concepts with the team

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

You have:

  • 4–6+ years in high-speed environments (sports, creator economy, esports, newsrooms, or digital-first teams)

  • Strong After Effects, Photoshop, and Adobe CC skills, with a portfolio showcasing motion, typography, and systems

  • Experience building design systems or template libraries at scale

  • Ability to produce quality assets quickly

  • Strong sense of brand identity and current culture

  • Collaborative; able to turn real-time needs into graphics

BONUS POINTS
  • Experience in live shopping, creator marketplaces, ecommerce, sports, and/or TCG

  • Passion for expressive environments (streetwear, sports, gaming, media)

  • Love of creators, fans, collectors, and their culture

HOW WE WORK
  • Model championship culture: speed, precision, no ego, no drama, high accountability

  • High ownership: Leaders here solve, not wait

  • No ego: We review, take feedback, fix mistakes fast

  • Speed + judgment: You ship constantly

  • AI-first: If it can be automated, you automate it

  • In-office energy: Culture doesn’t build itself on Zoom
